- Is There a Cancellation Policy or Fee?
Yes, we have a strict 24-hour cancellation policy and a fee for appointments canceled with less than 24 hours notice.
- Are Parents Allowed Back in the Rooms?
Yes, we welcome one parent or adult chaperone in the treatment room for most visits. Extra siblings, family members, and friends are not allowed in the treatment areas and must remain in the waiting room, so please plan accordingly.
Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
Beginning January 1, 2023, should you need to cancel or reschedule your child’s appointment, please allow us 24 hours notice and we will be happy to change your appointment date or time.
We always strive to accommodate as many patients as we can each day, and every time slot is scheduled to maintain efficiency. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice are nearly impossible to fill with a different patient, yet our staff is still required to be on hand and ready for that appointment. For these reasons, we have a very firm 24-hour cancellation policy.
Any appointment canceled with less than 24 hours notice will result in a $50 charge to the patient’s account. No future appointments will be scheduled until that balance has been paid. Additionally, if a patient is more than 15 minutes late for their scheduled time, we will consider this a missed appointment, and the $50 fee will be charged.
We appreciate your understanding and assistance in helping us keep our practice running in a way that is respectful of everyone’s time.
